Available until the end of July, this Facebook video from the 202 New Music Gathering, which adapted to the times quite brilliantly, includes Nancy's "...black snow, dark ocean..." at 51:54 in a recording from the premiere last September.

May 26's Portland Cello Project presentation of "Cello Tuesdays" was a bit of a supergroup presentation, with fellow cellists Diane Chaplin and Valdine Mishkin. Each cellist played solo works, but the program also included the premiere of Nancy's piece Together Apart, which was designed for latency; the music would still sound as intended even if time lags through off the players' ability to coordinate. The thrill was that, thanks to technical upgrades by PCP, the performers were able to truly hear each other while playing, giving a true chamber music experience.
When the pandemic shut everything down, Raúl Gomez launched into action to provide the students of the Metropolitan Youth Symphony in Portland, OR a virtual place to gather and to continue to learn about music. He has had an amazing series of guests, and Nancy was one of them.

Recently, Arwen Myers, a wonderful soprano and fellow member of Fear No Music, did a spectacular Artslandia Happy Hour. She performed 10 world premieres written for the occasion, plus Nancy's piece, Celilo Fishermen, a setting of a poem by Ed Edmo, which had received its premiere one week earlier. Nancy sys, "I arranged it for her to accompany herself on piano and it was a huge treat to hear it so beautifully sung, and an honor to be included on such an amazing program. Do listen to the whole program and enjoy Arwen's charm and artistry!" Celilo Fishermen is at about the 20 minute mark. Nancy entered NPR's Tiny Desk contest with this video:
OPB Music Road Sessions recorded a performance of Shard, which was commissioned by Portland Cello Project, featuring Nancy, Diane Chaplin, David Eby and Skip vonKuske. Nancy says, "One of the more unusual venues I've performed in has to be a small platform at Bridal Veil Falls! We couldn't really hear ourselves over the sound of the water, but I love the effect, especially now when we can't visit the Gorge in person."
