The Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra presents Concert IV: Immortal Beloved, a program centered around Nancy Ives’ Immortal Beloved. Drawing inspiration from Beethoven’s mysterious letter to his unnamed muse, Nancy reclaims the voices of nine women whose lives intertwined with his, yet who were often silenced by history.
Through lush orchestration and an expressive performance by soloist Denise Dillenbeck on violin, Immortal Beloved explores the personal and political obstacles these women faced, while framing their stories as ones of resilience, creativity, and legacy.
The concert also features Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7, creating a powerful pairing between reflection and renewal.
